Field Service Technician (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Commissioning, Maintenance, Repair & Troubleshooting of marine electrical & mechanical equipment onboard vessels and in company premisses/workshop ( i.e. Burners, Boilers, Scrubbers, EGE, EBG, GCU and supporting systems).
  • Process engineering commissioning of heat generators and specially designed combustions systems
  • Trouble-shooting using state-of-the-art technologies
  • Provide on site and remote technical support to clients. 
  • Active collaboration in building new sales areas (e.g.  Proactive recommendation of required/suggested spare parts to Customers.)
  • Ability and willingness to travel on short notice onboard vessels in region, but occasionally also globally.
  • Ensure that the work is executed according to the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment guidelines and customer site procedures and report unsafe practices and incidents.
  • Write Service Certificates (time sheets) on site and get them signed by customer.
  • Conduct training for Junior and Trainee Service Engineers and provide Technical Support

 

Your Profile

  • SAACKE Field Service Technicians are flexible, well trained and have a great range of experience in combustion products including oil and gas burners, Waste to Energy plants, boiler and plant systems, multiple fuel handling systems and modern control systems.
  • Troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic & mechanical systems.
  • The ideal candidates will be from a combustion, electrical maintenance or engineering background, preferably educated to electrical maintenance.   
  • The candidate has an open personality (cross cultural awareness) with good communication skills and is ready for travelling worldwide (fluent written and spoken English). 
  • The candidate has a Team player mindset with attitude to share knowledge and experience with your colleagues and to provide high quality of work results.
  • Customer oriented approach with effectively prioritizing and executing tasks
